Theses structures are very common in Dallas County and Collin County due to intense sunshine many days of the year in North Texas. Covered structures are also very welcoming, inviting people to relax in some shade.
PAVILION
For those that have large yards, a pavilion may be a better structure to have. Pavilions are more grand than pergolas and typically have solid roofs which can provide several other benefits like grills, tv, play tables, and other objects that should be kept from being rained on. They're good places for yoga sessions!
